“It is only with one’s heart that one can see clearly: what is essential is invisible to the eye.” Antoine de Saint-Exupery
Hello dear friends,
As of this newsletter, I am resigning from the Board of BHSA. I’m so glad that I have this opportunity to say goodbye in an official capacity. You are all indelibly, yet gently, residing in my heart, so there is no separation in that sense. I imagine, therefore, that we are all in for a ride, as I follow my heart in support of my family and another move–not quite sure where or when, but soon.
My gift is that I am an expert at jumping off cliffs. My defense is that I am an expert at jumping off cliffs–with the tight control, rigidity and narrow-mindedness that is required to survive. I find myself asking: what’s here now? Am I having fun? Am I excited? Am I aware of the landscape as well as the horizon, able to take in the view from this dizzying height? Am I looking forward to the depths that will follow? How deep can I go?
Today, a client wrote to me that she was losing it, hitting bottom. I opened to guidance and was told to tell her to be aware of gravity and let it inform her movements. I got a ??? back! ‘Aware of gravity?’ If you are paying attention to gravity (and not the situation/story) you will automatically relax and ground. No effort needed. Gravity creates heaviness (and connection) and you will be pushed down naturally into the ground–no ‘doing’ needed, just paying attention.
So I am paying attention to my heart, with its heaviness as well as its clarity, following my path toward the next great adventure. Wishing you all peace and insight.
with blessings and love,
Anne Bachop
